Today, we're making that happen by providing a free, integrated video conferencing solution - baked right into your favourite cloud training platform!
Blended Learning
Calibrae.com has always enabled you to create blended learning experiences that mix self-paced online learning activities, with face-to-face instructor-led sessions. And of course, we've got great support to integrate with your favourite virtual meeting providers like Zoom, Google Meet, Whereby and others. Love using Zoom for your webinar sessions? No problem - just carry on as normal!
But we wanted to make it even easier for our lovely course creators and instructors to add web conferencing features to their online courses, without having to worry about setting up an account with a web conference provider. Now, if you want to schedule a class delivery, select whether you want the session location to be:
- A unique webinar - the online meeting room is unique for this class session
- Personal webinar - the session will use your personal online meeting room URL
- Choose your own - define your own meeting room URL or enter a street address
If you're happy to let Calibrae take care of arranging your online meeting - just leave the default selection of Unique Webinar and save the session! If you want to customize things, then select to choose your own where you can enter your existing preferred location - whether that's a web address (URL) or a map address. If required, you can also add an access code.
Since the location is configured differently for each scheduled delivery, you can even choose to have some sessions delivered face-to-face, and some delivered via the integrated video conferencing solution - you decide what works best for you.
Learners enrolled in the course then book themselves onto one of the available sessions. When they join, they'll be presented with the webinar - embedded right into the platform. It couldn't be simpler!
